Flying directly to València
València Manises Airport is situated around 8 km to the west of the city.

València Airport offers a wide variety of facilities, including tourist information, assistance with luggage, coffee bar, car rentals, metro service to Valencia and taxi.
On arrival it is best to get a taxi from the airport. Taxi stops are located at the arrivals area of the airport and costs about 20€ to the city. Metro is also convenient. Both Metro Line 3 and 5 link the airport with the centre of València, (roughly 25 minutes away). These trains are the cheapest option available for getting to the city centre.

Getting to València by Train
València Joaquín Sorolla Train Station is the station for high-speed trains.
There are 10 high-speed trains (AVE) per day from Madrid to València with the trip in around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Other daily high-speed trains (ALVIA) are also available and take around 2 hours and 10 minutes.
There are 10 trains (EUROMED) per day from Barcelona to València that take around 3 hours.
There are 4 trains (EUROMED) per day from Alicante to València. Other daily trains (TALGO) are also available, both take around 1 hour and 40 minutes.

There are many buses each day to and from the other large Spanish cities (like Madrid or Barcelona). The bus station is on the North of the City, so you will need to get a taxi or a bus to get to the centre.

Driving to València
The Spanish road network has improved a lot in the last 20 years and there are good roads to all other Spanish cities. It takes about 2 hours from Alicante, 4 hours from Madrid and 4 hours from Barcelona.
The A7 motorway links the city to all major European road networks.
